How to Draw 2D from Gorillaz

Step 1.


Draw out the stick figure base that we will be drawing on and using for guidelines. A circle for the head and small blobs for the feet and a single line for the right hand are all you need right now.

Step 2.


First off, draw in the chin and neck area with teh top of the t-shirt. Also, begin to draw in the hairline on the forehead.

Step 3.


Draw in the top of the hair and finish off the torso. Then using the lines as guides, draw the arms down to about waist length for now.

Step 4.


We are going to erase the guidelines soon! Draw in two ovals for the eyes and a straight small nose. Then finish drawing the arms and hands after you draw the pants down to the shoes using the guidelines.

Step 5.


Erase all the guidelines and try not to overwhelmed with all the red detail lines in this step. Add the eyebrows and the mouth and move on to the fold lines on the clothing. Add the waistline with the belt and buckle and the number "3" on his shirt.    

Step 6.


Now all you have to do is darken in the eyes and you are finished. You're final drawing should look similar to this one. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Comments and ratings are appreciated! ^__^
