1

Draw two circles with the head being a bit larger then the body like you see here. Once the two shapes are drawn, move to step two.

2

Using those two shapes you drew in step one, carefully draw out the shape of Roy's head, beak, body, legs, and feathery tail. Don't forget to include the three lumps on the top of the head as well, these are the points to the rooster's comb.

3

It's already time to draw in the skull of Roy's head like you see here, and then draw the arm, and wing bones like so.

4

Since you are drawing this Skelanimal from the side, there is less steps to completion. You will only have to make a circle for the eye, and then draw a small heart, and feather finger bones too. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

5

Here is the finished product once you are all done. Now you can color him in, and add Roy to your Skelanimal drawing collection. Great job everyone!

Description: How many roosters do you know of that are cool, hip, and sometimes even cute? If you say none, you are wrong because there is at least two roosters that I can think of that are all of the things I listed above. My first favorite rooster is of course Foghorn Leghorn. He is a reacquiring character from the Looney Tunes family that is said to be one of the brightest, and charismatic animal from the Warner Bros. family. The second rooster that is now on my favorites list is Roy the Rooster from the Skelanimal family. Roy may not be as mature as Foghorn, but he is certainly cuter. Like all roosters, Roy gets a kick out of being an alarm clock because he gets to wake his Skelanimal friends. Like almost every other Skelanimal character, Roy is a very uppity and cheerful animal that spends every waking day on his feet, helping his friends stay happy to be part of the dead. I thought I would switch things up a bit and not include the whole story to how Roy became a Skelanimal. Instead you yourself can read more on Roy the Rooster, just by visiting the Skelanimal website. There you can also find out how you can own your very own Skelanimal plushy and accessories. I hope you enjoy this lesson on "how to draw Roy", step by step. You will find that he is one of the easiest Skelanimals to draw out of them all. Peace out people and enjoy your drawing day!
