How to Draw Oliver

Artist: Dawn / December 9, 2010

Step 1.

Draw a large circle for the head, and then make a square shaped body like so. You will then add the facial guidelines too.

Step 2.

Here you will begin drawing out the entire shape of Oliver's body which includes the head shape, ears, arms, and legs. At this point it sort of looks like the outline of a chibi animal.

Step 3.

You can begin drawing in the shape of the skeletal portion of his skull or face which should come out looking like an eye mask of some sorts.

Step 4.

Lastly. all you have to do is draw out two eye socket shapes, draw the beak, and then draw the small heart, and toes for his feet. Erase the guidelines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up your new drawing.

Step 5.

Look how easy it was to draw Oliver from the Skelanimals family. I hope you had fun, with this amazing tutorial on a very popular owl that loves to be loved.

Description: Oliver the owl is a cute addition to the Skelanimal family. He has a wicked wise mind and great personality. Now because Oliver is an owl, he is more likely another popular character plush from the Skelanimal family. There is no wrong way to draw Oliver because making his shapes and lines is almost like making circles and squares. Out of all the Skelanimals, I like Oliver's story on how he became to be part of the flying dead of all. You see, "Oliver loved the shimmer of the night, he stared at the stars so distant and bright. Each evening he wiggled and whispered as he spoke, to be as bright as a star' was all he hoped. On a holiday night he flew and he eyed some holiday lights on a pine tree outside. He dove and he spun and wrapped himself 'round, each glowing bulb with feathers surround. So happy was Oliver, as bright as a star, now stuck on a tree you can see from afar”. How awesomely amazing was that story huh? I loved it, and I wish I could hug him and take him from the tree top. I have to fly out of here for now, but I will be back soon so don't have a cow. Hey that was pretty cute. See ya people, and enjoy your drawing day.
