How to Draw Pancakes

The first thing we need to do is draw the stack of pancakes like so. There is four in total and as you can see they get larger on the way down.

Now that the guides are drawn, you can actually draw out the first pancake, and don't forget the butter slice.

Draw the second pancake, then proceed to step four.

By the time the third pancake rolls around, you can see how it's larger in size.

Draw the fourth pancake like so, then move along to step six. The stack should be in an uneven pile.

What you will do next is sketch in the detailing or defining lines on the curves of each pancake side like so. You will do the same thing to the butter slice.

Lastly, erase the mistakes then begin drawing the syrup that is dressing this stack of pancakes. There is a syrup pile at the bottom instead of a plate.

Here is what the drawing looks like when you are all done. Color them in then add them to a drawn plate.

These delectable cakes can be enjoyed any time of the day, during any part of the week. I love going to pancake houses because they cook a wide variety of pancakes like blueberry, banana, strawberry, apple, or whatever you can think of. The thick maple syrup drenches the pancakes as the soft slab of butter melts down the sides of the pancake stack. As you can see there is also the whisper of heat or steam rising from the pancakes making this picture look good enough to eat. If you love drawing food, you will have a blast drawing pancakes.
