Begin with a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines like so. Once that is done you can than draw out the mid lining for the body frame.

2

Next, draw the shape of Miki's face, and then begin drawing her hair, and hat lining that you see on her forehead here.

3

You will finish drawing out her very simple looking hat and than draw the shape of a spade to the far right. Once that is done, add some detailing to her hair, as well as another hair strand.

All you need to do now is draw a few shards of bang pieces that are resting on her forehead, and then use the facial lining that you drew in step one to draw out her big chibi like eyes. Thicken the lining for the top lid, and then draw out her simpl

Miki is a very simple character to draw and I think you can see that just from this lesson. All you have to do here is draw the bottom of her shirt which tappers off into a "V" shape, and then draw her bag. Next, draw the legs and or pants, and be su

Now let's finish off this character shall we? All you have to do is draw out her legs, and then her cute little feet and or shoes. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your amazing drawing.

In the end you should have a Shugo Chara character that looks like the one you see here. I hope you had fun learning how to draw Miki. Be sure to join me for more drawing fun in the future.

Description: Has anyone heard of the manga “Shugo Chara”? Well, a member made a request for me to do a lesson on one of the characters from this popular manga. I however, only heard about the series, but now that I am doing a tutorial on one of the figures, I know a lot more. This lesson is going to be on “how to draw Miki", step by step. The show follows a girl named “Amu Hinamori”, who is a student at Seiyo Elementary school. I actually did a lesson on this child heroine, except it's not called "how to draw Amu". Instead it's labeled as Shugo Chara! Anyways, the whole plot to the story is how Amu wants to be reborn into a person that has courage to be herself instead of an insecure, timid girl. Even though she feels like this, she is a very popular figure in school regardless. In her efforts to be someone else, she makes a wish to change. The next day she finds three colorful eggs, that later hatch into Guardian Characters named Ran, Miki, and Su. The Guardian that I'm showing you how to draw is the very cute, Miki. She was the second egg to hatch and she is supposed to represent Amu's ability to be more level headed, sharp and somewhat artistic. Not only that but, since Miki is so fashionable, she often helps Amu chose clothes to wear to make her appear to be a bit more cooler than she already is. When 'Character Change' takes place, Amu is flooded with amazing artistic abilities, and when 'Character Transformation' takes place, Amu becomes “Amulaet Spade”. Miki's appearance is so incredibly cute. The manga series also ran as an anime television series on TV Tokyo from October 2007, to September 2008. The character appearance for Miki is very simple. Her main colors is a light pastel blue, and her symbol is the spade. Miki sort of looks like a chibi, and I guess her design was intentional because all the other Characters are in chibi form as well. If you are familiar with the series, whether it's from the manga or the anime, you should love this lesson on “how to draw Miki from Shugo Chara", step by step. I will be back later on today with more drawing fun so stay tuned in until then, or come back through. Peace out my fellow artists, and have fun with this, and all the new lessons that you will be flooded with today!
