How to Draw Dark Magician Girl

Step 1.


Start with a simple shape for her head, and then draw the facial guidelines. Once that is done you can draw the complete framing of her body's posed position.

Step 2.


Before you start sketching out her hair style, you will need to draw the shape or structure of her face. Once that is done, you can then approach the task of drawing her hair. The bangs are long and hang low, and like with other manga/anime character   

Step 3.


What you want to do now is draw in her eyes, and color in her pupils. Next, draw the mouth, and then draw the shoulders and then the beginning line of her shirt.

Step 4.


It's time now to draw her magician's hat which is shaped like a cone, and has embroidered stripes that slow down the shape. Draw the lid borders, and then move to the next step.

Step 5.


Sketch out the back of her hair, and then finish drawing her top like you see here. She has a very womanly like shape to her body, so remember to keep that in mind when you draw the rest of her body shape. Continue to sketch out her clothing, and as    

Step 6.


Once you have completed step five, you can continue to draw out her arm, and then her clothing. She almost looks more like a fairy than a magician. Next, draw her thigh, and the beginning of her lower leg.

Step 7.


Finish sketching out her legs, and then her hand like you see here. Draw her other leg, and then the top cuffs or folds of her boots.

Step 8.


It's time to finish drawing Dark Magician Girl so you can begin the process of coloring her in. All you have to do is draw out the rest of her legs, and boots. Just like her hat, the boots also have that same embroidered design so be sure to draw tha   

Step 9.


When you are done this Yu-Gi-Oh character comes out looking fantastic. Color her in and you're all done. I hope you had a butt load of fun with this lesson, and remember to join me again for another fun filled tutorial.

Description: There is so many different characters from the very popular card game and show, Yu-Gi-Oh. Over time, I have drawn and uploaded several different lessons on particular figures that all have some kind of significance in the series. Today I figured I would submit another one of those characters. This next tutorial is going to show you "how to draw Dark Magician Girl", step by step. I know I submitted a lot of lessons on males from the series, but since this particular figure was a request, I jumped on the idea because as of yet, I don't have anything on a female from Yu-Gi-Oh. My brother was excited when I told him I was drawing Dark Magician Girl. I guess she is used by Yugi as a card during some of his duels. Dark Magician Girl is responsible for Yugi, and Yami Yugi's revival of the Sacred Dragon Timaeus so that they can fight the Doma. She made her first anime debut in the second series with episode 42 “Duel Monsters Spirit Day”, and after that she appeared again in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Her appearance is very colorful even though her colors consist of mainly blue and pink. She has long blonde hair, and green colored eyes. Dark Magician Girl also has a wand that adds a nice touch to her attire. Anyway, there really isn't too much more I can say about her character except how she is mainly used as a card. Although I could be wrong because I am not a big Yu-Gi-Oh series watcher, or card collector. If you have anymore info, or if I missed anything, just drop me a line and let me know.
