How to Draw Little Red Riding Hood

Step 1.


Start with a head guide shape and a body guide. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Step 2.


Define the shape of Riding Hood's face like so and then draw in the hair line.

Step 3.


We will now draw great big eyes and color them in almost solid. Add some thick lashes and proceed to step four.

Step 4.


Up next, draw in her hood and then draw the long blonde locks that have a bit of wave to them.

Step 5.


We will now focus on the body by drawing the cape collar and then the bow. When that is done draw in the length of the cape and then some of her arm.

Step 6.


Finish off Little Red Riding Hood by drawing the bell shaped dress. There should be some ruffle at the end of her dress and some pleats too. Erase your mistakes and you are all done.

Step 7.


Here is your line art when you are all done. Now you can color in this drawing and finish her off.

Description: This is just a very simple lesson on how to draw Little Red Riding Hood in chibi form. I don't know why I chose to create such a tut, I think it's because it was requested somewhere down the line. I like the design concept of this drawing and I also think that others will like it as well. Red Riding Hood is small but sweet, colorful but dark, and mysterious but friendly.
