How to Draw a Rastafarian

Make your guidelines and shapes first. This includes the head and body guides.

Next up, we will draw in a large style Rastacap like so. This is a big cap because it's on a small head.

Define the shape of the face structure using the head guide you made in step one. When that is done you can draw the thick short dreads and the eyes. Color in the eyes and add the necklace and key charm.

Use the body guides to draw out the body which is just the arms, torso and stubby legs.

Add detailing to the Rastacap and then draw in the stripes to the shirt and make some pockets. Erase your mistakes and guides.

Here is the line art when you are done. All you need to do now is color in your drawing.

Description: Here is a cute lesson that will show folks how to draw a Rastafarian, step by step in chibi form. I really do like how this drawing came out. It's so colorful and bright making it stand out on the front page. I am making these tuts because of my love for Bob Marley music and the whole Reggae style. When I listen to Reggae I think of the beach and ocean and that is a place I love to be. Anyways, if you like Reggae I recommend that you tackle this lesson on drawing a Rastafarian. I will be back in a bit with some adorable lessons and some attractive ones so stay tuned in.
