Step 2.
You will use the shape you just drew to sketch out the actual head and face of Kai. The lines widen at the sides of the eyes to make the ninja gi or mask look like it has some folds and creases. Draw in the eyebrows and then the two eyes.

Description:
Here is something I don’t draw on a regular basis, a hero based on the Lego Ninjago series. I know I did one of these figures in the past, but nobody asked for any more tutorials of the characters so I didn’t bother making more. Two years passed since I did a Ninjago, so what better way to make another than to do it with a tutorial on "
how to draw Kai
", step by step? He is the Red Ninja of Fire, and unlike some of the other ninja characters, Kai is only a ninja because he is looking for his sister who has been kidnapped and captured by the evil Lord Garmadon. Some of the cool things about the theme based storyline is how the ninjas use dragon related weaponry like dragon swords, and dragon staffs. Since this is a Lego character, he should be pretty simple to draw. I know you will succeed as you begin drawing Kai from the Lego Ninjago series. Adios people and enjoy!
