For the second step sketch out the actual structure of Janis' face, then draw in the lining on each side of her face for her long straight hair. Add the eyebrows in a bold manner.

Next, Draw in the shapes of her eyes, then sketch in the lining to form the nose. You have to give Janis kind, happy eyes to show the expression and emotion in her face. Add the smiling frown lines, then move to step four.

To finish Janis Joplin's face, all you need to do is draw the mouth, then sketch in the teeth exposed as she gives us a huge smile. You will also add the hump for the tongue.

Sketch in her long parted hairstyle, then sketch the detailing to her hair which will give it texture and body. Erase the mistakes as well.

Her name is Janis Joplin". Joplin has always been a rebellious gal that let music guide her thoughts, choices and way of life. She was a free spirit that had so much soul, her parents thought it was necessary to give her more religion to try and put her on the right path. When she was at the top of her musical game fans and other folks was refereed to as the Queen of Rock n Roll, and the Queen of Psychedelic Soul. Her stream of hit songs where; Down on Me, Summertime, Piece of My Heart, Ball n Chain, Maybe, To Love Somebody, Mercedes Benz, Me and Bobby McGee and Kozmic Blues. I'm sure I missed a few songs but those are the ones that I know of. Janis Joplin played at Woodstock, the Monterrey Pop Festival and some other popular venues.
