How to Draw Janis Joplin, Janis Joplin

Step 1.

You will now draw out the shape of Janis' head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

For the second step sketch out the actual structure of Janis' face, then draw in the lining on each side of her face for her long straight hair. Add the eyebrows in a bold manner.

Step 3.

Next, Draw in the shapes of her eyes, then sketch in the lining to form the nose. You have to give Janis kind, happy eyes to show the expression and emotion in her face. Add the smiling frown lines, then move to step four.

Step 4.

To finish Janis Joplin's face, all you need to do is draw the mouth, then sketch in the teeth exposed as she gives us a huge smile. You will also add the hump for the tongue.

Step 5.

Sketch in her long parted hairstyle, then sketch the detailing to her hair which will give it texture and body. Erase the mistakes as well.

Step 6.

Janis Joplin's line art looks nice and clean and ready to color in if you choose to.
