How to Draw Amelia Earhart, Amelia Earhart

1

Let's get started. Draw the outline of the face, then add the facial guidelines as well as the neck and shoulder guides.

2

Begin sketching out the left side lining to form the face shape like so.

3

We will now sketch out Amelia's nose followed by her mouth or lips. As you can see this task isn't all that hard.

4

Next up, make some bold or thick lining for her eyes. Above the eyes there should be shading to create the look on her face. Sketch in her eyebrows, then you are done here.

5

Finish drawing the shapes of her eyes, then add small dimple like dashes under each eye.

6

Next, let's draw in her aviation goggles like so. You will need to take the time to sketch out the framing outside the lens'. Detail your goggles and you can move to step seven.

7

We will draw the shape of her head which is covered by the leather style aviator's helmet. Add the strap from the goggles, as well as the stitching detailing.

8

Lastly, draw the shape of her neck, then sketch in her shoulders, shirt collar and the rest of the definition that varies from her clothing to neck. Erase your mistakes as well.

9

Here is Amelia Earhart when you are done with your drawing. You have now drawn a woman from history.

Description: This next lesson is based on a woman that has set numerous amounts of records for her passion in what she loves to do. Up next we will learn "how to draw Amelia Earhart", step by step. For those of you that don’t know, Amelia Earhart was the first female pilot to fly by herself over and across the Atlantic Ocean back in 1928. The first plane that Earhart purchased was a used bright yellow Kinner Airster biplane. Like sailors do with their boats, Earhart named her first plane ‘The Canary’ because of the bright yellow color. She went on to make a name for herself and even had a role in the formation of ‘The Ninety Nines’. On July 2, 1937 Amelia Earhart disappeared over the Pacific Ocean as she flew to her destination near Howland Island. Enjoy folks and be sure to leave some feedback.
