Step 1.
Okay, instead of drawing a perfect heart, I wanted to go for a fun shape that will accommodate the concept of flowing hair.

Step 2.
Here you will draw out on the shape you drew in step one. The only thing you are doing different is making thicker lines, leaving a hole on the side, and a pointed tip on the right arch of the heart shape.

All you have to do here is draw the side profile of a females face. Start the lining process at the base of the empty space you left behind from step two.

For your last step, all you need to do is draw out the hair line, and the outlined shape of her ear, which also flows into the shape of her neck. Erase some of the guidelines you drew in step one.

Here is the pretty silhouette of an illusion that you just drew. Now all you have to do is color in the drawing. See that, your finished.

Description:
Well, it looks like some of you may have liked the lessons I've submitted so far. For my fourth tutorial, I wanted to draw something that looked like a subtle illusion. The drawing idea came from a small poster that my parents got me a few days ago. It was of two dragons faces each other. But that wasn't the illusion. The eye trick was the females face that was in between the two dragons. Their bodies where viewed from the side, and the way that their heads, arms, claws, legs, and tails where positioned, the illusion is the girls face. It is such a cool picture that I wanted to do a similar sketch, but without the complexity. There are many types of mind or eye altering images that is supposed to trick the human eye. My drawing is going to be obvious but beautiful because it's of a side profile of a females face with long flowing hair that turns into a pretty heart shape. Having said that, I guess you could label this tutorial as a lesson that will teach you "
how to draw illusions
", step by step. There is many different types of objects or gestures that you can create to make an illusion, and this is one of them. This art can also be used as a tattoo design if you're getting your first ink job. This would actually make a cute small design for the ankle, breast, or back shoulder. Another great thing about this concept sketch, is the difficulty it's going to take to draw it out, and that's close to none. I think you will find that drawing illusions is something that can be explored if you're the type of artist that likes trying new things. I will be back later with another lesson for you all. In the mean time, have fun, and don't forget to add some of your own ideas to make the drawing even better. Peace out people!
