How to Draw a Animal

Step 1.


Start the head shape which is a circle, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the shape of the koala's body like so.

Step 2.


Draw the shapes of the oval eyes, and then color in some pupils.

Step 3.


Sketch out the actual shape of the head, and be sure to add the pointed semi-Pikachu looking ears.

Step 4.


You will finish drawing out the ears by add some sharp edged flaps like you see here. Next draw a fat looking nose, and then the mouth. Lastly, draw the left arm.

Step 5.


Finish drawing out the arm you started and then draw the chest line. You will also draw the right arm and hand, and then move to step six when you are done.

Step 6.


This is your final step and all you have to do to finish off your drawing is draw the arched back, and hind leg and foot. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up your work!

Step 7.

Description: I was going to submit another simple based tutorial again to go back to back with the other one I just uploaded, but I decided that breaking up the two headings would be better. Instead, I will upload a lesson on “how to draw a animal", step by step. Animals are wicked fun to draw, and many children start out drawing these fun characters as they embark on the artistic fun. Take me for example, I started drawing dinosaurs which are animals as well. It took me an extremely long time to start drawing animals because I just didn't have any interest in doing sketches on them to tell you the truth. My main forms of art was fantasy creatures like dragons, fairies, elves, and concept characters that where mixed with the DNA of dinosaurs. The animal I chose to draw for this lesson is the Koala bear. Koala's are one of the worlds most recognized species to date. Along with dinosaurs, these creatures are also very different, rare, and odd. I love how Koala's eat eucalyptus leaves, because they remind me of another tree dwelling bear named, the Panda bears. Anyway, you should find this tutorial on "how to draw a animal", enjoyable, and fun. Just the Koala alone is worth drawing no matter what the title may say.
