Now you can start sketching out the beginning hairstyle, and then draw the goggles that he is wearing on top of his head. Next Rex has thick eyebrows so you will need to draw and color them in. Draw the right side shape of the face, then move to the

Finish sketching out Rex's face and then add his eyes using the facial guidelines you drew in step one. Draw the nose, and then start drawing the jacket lining such as the collar, shoulders, and sleeves.

Draw the blowing shape of his coat as you see here and then draw out his waist, middle crotch, and then the right leg and boot. Add some detailing and definition, then move to the next step which will bring you closer to the end.

For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the left thigh, lower leg, and foot. Add the design lining that makes up the pattern of his leg, and then start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Howdy folks and welcome back to another fun filled day on Dragoart.com. Today I will start the day by submitting a character from a cartoon that is going to be airing soon as part of Cartoon Networks line up from the same creators that brought you Ben 10. So, having said that I will show you "how to draw Generator Rex", step by step”. The main character of the series is Rex and from what I've read so far he is supposed to be a fifteen year old kid that is accompanied by an ape, and a partner. The reason why I don't know the other two characters names is because they haven't been released yet. I mean, maybe they have been released, I just can't find any 411 on the show or the supporting characters. What I do know is that it is said Generator Rex is due to be released in April of 2010. The main character Rex is infected with some sort of microscopic altering nanites that gives him the ability to turn into mechanical machines that are massive in size, and destructive in nature. I watched some of the preview, and I have to say it looks very good. You can also be the first to get a sneak peak of Generator Rex just by clicking the link provided for you within his name. All in all the lesson came out looking pretty cool, and at least you will have the opportunity to draw Rex from the animated series before it's release. Cartoon Network always puts out good shows, and I think it's because they have very talented artists, illustrators, and writers on their team. Have fun with this lesson, and I will be back shortly with another tutorial for you all. Peace peeps, and happy drawing!
