How to Draw Footballs
1
This is just an example sketch on how a football should be sketched out when drawn in an action or in a thrown state. Notice that the football on the top has more lines that almost look like fine hair strands. The football on the bottom has less acti

Here I explain the basics of a footballs design. For example, there should only be eight laces on top of the ball, there is about four stitched areas of the football, and the white pained bands on a football can either go all the way around the balls
3
If you are going to draw a football with tattered areas this is how you should do it. You have to make sure that you sketch in those scuff marks, faded paint strips, dirt stains, and even some small tears.
4
Now lets get started. Draw a slanted or angled straight line like you see here. If you are going to be drawing your footballs from a horizontal point of view, draw your line straight across your drawing space.
6
Draw one stitch lines from point to point like so, and then draw in the patch that will be home to your lace lines. Remember, laces out!
7
For the last drawing step draw out one lace that has been stitched eight times, and then color them in. You will then draw out the two bands on each end of the football and then begin erasing the one guideline and mistakes that you drew.

Description: Summer is almost here and that means more and more sports are going to be played, watched, and enjoyed. Today we will be learning "how to draw footballs", step by step. The football is a very easy object to draw which means you will or should have no problems with recreating this pig skin ball. I do have a tutorial on a regular single football, but it is surrounded with flames so it doesn't really look like a playable ball. Anyways this is going to be a simple lesson that all sports nuts will enjoy. In the lesson I provide some tips on how you should detail and draw your football. There are different angles that makes a football look smaller, and then there are angles that can make a football look larger. I had fun with this tutorial even though I’m not a big sports fan. Drawing the actual football was pretty boring but once it was finished it looked good. Be sure to rate and comment on the tutorial to let me know if it was helpful, or if you enjoyed it. Drawing footballs can be just as fun as drawing anime. Well, not really but still, at least making a football is easier. Have fun guys!
