Well, to tell you the truth there are many balls that folks don’t know how to draw, and a basketball is one of them. What makes drawing a ball so hard, nothing really. I mean it really depends on what type of ball you want to create. There are soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, beach balls, tennis balls, big balls, small balls, and all sorts of other balls. One thing to keep in mind is, each one of these plastic or pig skinned toys or sporting accessories, have different textures, shapes, and design patterns. Take a soccer ball for instance, there is a bunch of octagon patterns that make up this balls design. Baseballs have a stitched line that flows around the whole make-up, and a football is lined or ribbed with stripes that are strategically placed for the football layers fingers. These stripes help a player throw the ball properly. Anyway, you will have fun learning "how to draw balls". Be sure to add some pattern of your choice. Peace out people, and be sure to join me tomorrow for more drawing fun.
