How to Draw Dragon Rainbow Dash

Let's begin. Start with a circle for the head, then draw out the odd shape for the body. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines as well as the leg guides and feet.

You will now draw in the big pointed ear, then draw the scruffy tuft of thick hair on top of Rainbow Dash dragon's head.

For the next step all you have to do is draw the shoulder and some of the back. Draw the two front legs and talons like so, then move to step six.

Okay, we are already almost done with this lesson. As you can see you will draw out the slender shaped wings, and add detailing to the skin of the wing.

Draw the hind leg and foot as well as the butt shape. You can start erasing the guidelines you already exhausted.

Lastly, draw the long dragon tail, then add the spear tipped pointed tail tuft. Finish erasing all the mistakes so you have a cleaned image to color in.

Description: I'm pulling out all the possibilities to different concepts for these beloved My Little Pony characters. Once again my little sister suggested that I make a tutorial on "how to draw Dragon Rainbow Dash", step by step. She didn't specifically ask for Rainbow Dash, she just said make the MLP ponies into dragons and start with the ones I like. So, needless to say Rainbow Dash is one of her favorite pony characters. I had a lot of fun with the idea process because I wanted to bring out character through expression and I think I may have accomplished that task. The style of the dragon is short and bulky instead of tall and slender like the MLP ponies are. No matter what, you should enjoy this lesson on drawing Dragon Rainbow Dash.
