How to Draw Angus, Angus the Horse, Brave
1
Let's start by drawing a few shapes and guidelines to create a frame for your new horse character. Start with an oblong shape for the head and then draw a big circle for the mid section of the body. You will then make another shape at the back end of
2
Using the shape you drew in for the head, begin sketching out the actual head and muzzle for Angus. Next, draw in the ears as well as the mane that falls on the forehead of the horse. The mane should be long, thick, and flat.
3
Before you add detailing to the bangs of the mane, you will need to draw the top part of the neck which can be done just by sketching out the mane. Sketch in the detailing to the horse's hair like so, then draw the top part of the bridle as well as d
4
Next, sketch in the features of Angus' face starting with drawing out the circle shaped eye. Color in a pupil, then sketch the definition down the muzzle. Draw out the arches for the horse's nostrils, then make the mouth line. Draw the reigns.
5
You will now start drawing out the body now that the head is all done. Sketch out the chest, then draw the legs. When you draw the legs you will need to sketch in the long hair which is part of the fetlocks.
6
Continue sketching out the body starting at the back of the neck. Follow the same lining down the back, form rear end of the horse's body, then draw in the rear thigh and leg. Sketch in the stomach as well then sketch in the long hair at the ends of
8
Lastly, all you have to do is first erase the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one as well as your mistakes. When that is done draw the simple looking saddle, then sketch in some minor muscle definition.

Description: Hey guys I'm back with more drawing fun and this time it's going to be in the form of a animal from the Disney Pixar movie 'Brave'. As you know I have drawn and uploaded lessons of some of the main characters from the film. Once again I will be showing you how to draw an important figure that is not of human form. Instead, you will draw a horse which is that Clydesdale I was telling you about with the tutorial I submitted on Merida. Here is "how to draw Angus", step by step. Angus is Merida's trusted companion and horse that is always there whenever Merida needs him. This robust strong horse is jet black in color with ivory colored muzzle and fetlocks. I myself love Clydesdale horses because they are so incredibly beautiful and majestic looking. Angus is going to be a very popular character in the movie just because he is an amazingly gorgeous horse. I love how the creators decided to make him black, this is a nice contrast to Merida's bright red colored hair. Anyways, I should stop the yapping so you can get busy with drawing Angus from Brave. I will be back with a couple other lessons so try and stay tuned in for more fun.
