Step 1.

Begin this first step by drawing the head, muzzle, neck, and the torso and back end. The two body shapes should be connected and the snout should be squared.

Step 2.

Now that you have the shapes and guides drawn out, we can start working on the body starting with the head. Start by sketching out the forehead and muzzle of the horse. Next, draw the bottom lip and mouth line as well as the rounded jaw shape. End th

Step 3.

This is one of my favorite step because this is where you will be drawing the beautiful flowing mane. Start with the bangs, and be sure to curl them off to the side of the face. Once that is done, continue to sketch out the mane going down the back o

Step 4.

Now that the head and face is drawn, you can continue your feat by drawing the front part of the neck, followed by the chest, shoulder, and front leg. The hoof should also be sketched in neatly as well. The scuffs on the side of the shoulder should a

Step 5.

Here is a quick step that shows you how to draw a horse hoof. Start with a diamond shape for the guide, and then draw a short line guide. Draw the sides of the lower leg or ankle, and then draw in the actual hoof shape.

Step 6.

Here is some different examples on a horse hoof. The first one to the left is an example of a side view, the second is a side view from the side as the horse is standing on it, and then the other two are examples from the back view.

Step 7.

Continue to the body by drawing the other front leg and hoof. Sketch the detailing and move along to step eight.

Step 8.

Follow the lining down the back and draw the curved butt. Incorporate the thigh and lower leg shape like so, as well as the hoof.

Step 9.

As you can see you are almost done with this white stallion. Draw the chest and stomach, as well as the gentiles and other back leg. You will then sketch in all the body and muscle detailing like so, then proceed to step ten.

Step 10.

And finally, draw the long flowing tail which should have a few curls at the ends and sides. Sketch in the strand lines and then clean up your horse to perfection.

Step 11.

Look how awesome your horse looks now that you are all done. If you want to make your horse a black stallion all you have to do is color it in black. Otherwise, color your stallion white.
