How to Draw an Eternal Flame

Start by making the small tear drop shape for the base of the eternal flame. This shape is actually a hollow.

Next, begin forming a figure 8 shape which is what this eternal flame is based on. The small pieces of fire along the sides should also be drawn in.

Lastly, finish the fiery 8 and at the top draw in some subtle burning fire. Erase the mistakes and you are all done.

Description: When I was browsing through different types of tattoos I stumbled upon a design that caught my eye because of the title and concept of the idea. Anyways, enough talking let's just get down to business and that business today is learning how to draw an eternal flame, step by step. This is not what you would put on your arm as a tattoo, but if you tweak the concept a bit you can actually get away with having this awesome design as a tattoo. Drawing flames is always fun, but when you make an eternal flame that's when things get exciting.
