How to Draw an Anime Panda Girl

Begin the first step like you always do, make a circle for the head, then an oblong shape for her torso. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

You will now draw out the lower portion of her face shape like so, then draw the hair that brushes her face on the side which curls upward along her jawline.

Next, draw the top half of the head which is just a circular shape. Add the muffs on each side of the head which act like the panda's ears. You will then draw the headband as well.

Continuing on with the face you will sketch in the bangs, eyebrows, and then proceed to step five.

We will tackle the task of drawing out Coco's eyes. Start with thick upper lids, then draw the nose, mouth and some of the markings under the eyes.

All you have to do here is draw the hair strand lines that flow down her head like so.

Draw the skinny shape of her neck, then draw the shoulders, arm and some of her torso or chest. Coco is a sweet simple looking girl. Make sure to give the shirt collar some height and a wizard like sleeve.

Here you will draw in more of the sleeve where the cuff ends. Then draw her small sleek hand. In her hand draw a bamboo shoot with two leaves. Add detailing to the shoot as well.

Sketch in the rest of her body and then draw the flaring skirt. When that is done you can add the pleated lines, and make the seam down her torso or sweater. Add wrinkling to the elbow area, then move to step ten.

Here it is guys, your last drawing step. All you have to do is sketch in the rest of her hair length, then draw the stem of the bamboo shoot followed by her left hand or fingers. Erase the mistakes when you feel the drawing is complete.

Here is the line art once you are finished. Now you can go ahead and color her in to your liking. You don't even have to color her in using black and white shades.

Description: I have been so excited to get this lesson uploaded because I know how much you all love anime art based on concepts that are not traditionally used when creating new characters. Today I will be showing you "how to draw an anime panda girl" named Coco. She is a sweet young lady who loves being in the tropics. Coco has an odd hairstyle because the top half of her head is short, but then she has long, thin straight hair that falls down her back. She wears clothes that would make her color scheme look just like a panda because she wears a white zip sweater, with long black sleeves and a black skirt. I also finished off the design by placing a bamboo shoot in her hand. I think you will enjoy tackling this lesson because I know a lot of people out there love the panda bear.
