How to Draw an Angry Face

Step 1.


Let's get started. Draw the tear drop shape of the face structure like so. When that is done you can sketch in the facial guideline, neck guide and then shoulder guide line.

Step 2.


We will now sketch out the shape of the face. Draw the side view or profile of the face. Start with the nose, then draw the mouth. The mouth is wide open because he is screaming or yelling. Once the mouth shape is drawn, you can draw the chin and jaw   

Step 3.


We can now draw out the teeth, tongue and the connecting skin on the opposite side of the mouth. Draw in the eye in a very expressive manner. This face needs to look angry and sort of crazy. Add the definition to the face around the mouth, along the    

Step 4.


Here you will draw the hairstyle. The style of the hair is sort of long but it is combed forward. This is to make everything look more intense.

Step 5.


Here you will take your time as you sketch out the shape of the neck, shoulders and some of the back and chest. Since this face is really intense, the veins should be popping out from the body.

Step 6.


I wanted to show some sort of innocence with the whole concept so I drew in a fetus on the side of the head. This is supposed to represent a time when nothing mattered in your life.

Step 7.


And lastly, draw the wavy lines surrounding the entire head, face and body. Once that is done you can erase the mistakes and all the guides.

Step 8.


That's it, you are done. Now just add some bright colors to your drawing.

Description: Alright folks. We will be tackling some concept art lessons next and I will start with this one which will show us how to draw an angry face, step by step. Originally I wanted to name this lesson 'draw paranoia', but I didn't think the title made sense so, we will draw an angry looking face. I wanted to make sure that the face was as intense as possible. I think I may have achieved the goal. What I love most about this art is the coloring job. It ended up coming out so beautiful and glorious. Anyways, I will be back with some other tuts so be sure to stay tuned in. Adios folks and have fun.
