How to Draw a Gothic Caricature

Start off like we always do when drawing faces and that is with a face or head guide shape and then the guidelines for the face and neck.

Here you will begin to draw out the facial structure of the caricature. Notice the prominent cheek bone. When the face shape is drawn in, you can go ahead and draw the shaggy style bangs.

Finish the hairstyle by drawing the head shape and length of her hair. Once complete with that, you can draw the shape of her ear, the detailing inside the ear and then add the piercings. Don't forget to draw the shape of her neck as well.

Okay folks, let's move on to drawing the face. Start with the thick eyebrows and then draw the shapes of her eyes. Color in the brows and then sketch in the nose and lips. Add the indent as well to the cheek area.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in your caricature's torso. I drew her wearing a regular baggy tee and some necklaces like a Gothic style cross choker, and a raven skull necklace. You can fashion your goth caricature anyway you l

Description: It's always fun creating a portrait of yourself which is why I wanted to make a drawing of myself, but in a goth style caricature form. Today I will be teaching you how to draw a Gothic caricature, step by step. The face you see here in the drawing does resemble me, but I chose to throw off my features a bit by altering the cheek bones. I mean isn't that what you do when drawing caricature art anyway? You create a sketch of the person being drawn but muffle their features in a comical cartoonish style. Anyways, I like how I came out. I think I could possible do these types of tuts more often so if you want to see one of your favorite actors or movie characters drawn in caricature form, let me know.
