How to Draw a Zebra for Kids

Draw out the shape of the zebra's head and then another for the body. The next step is to draw in a face guide as well.

Using the shapes you drew in step one, you will now start shaping out the actual head. This is done just by simply thickening the circle you drew in step one, and then draw out the snout along with the ear. Add the bottom lip and then you are ready t

Draw out the left ear and then get the zebra's mane drawn in as well. The mane of a zebra is different from that of a horse. Horses have flowing hair, while the zebra has very stiff, brittle manes which stand up straight like a marine buzz cut.

Using the one face guide you drew in step one, you can begin drawing out the perfect round eyes, and then draw in a thin shape for the eyeball. Next, add ear detail and draw in the brows, and nostril holes.

Okay guys you are almost done. All you need to do is draw out the chest and front legs of this zebra for kids. Notice how the hooves are straight and flat. Some of the chest behind the leg can be drawn in as well.

Here you will draw out the back legs and thighs and then draw out the back of the zebra. Draw out the long tail, and be sure to sketch in the tuft. You might also want to erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to prepare the zebra for t

Okay guys this is the last drawing step. All you need to do is draw in the zebra strips. Be sure to color in the strips bold, and then draw the lines for the hooves.

Description: I really am excited to be uploading this next tutorial for you all because it is so darn cute. I really didn’t anticipate for this drawing to turn out so awesome. I present to you know a lesson that is going to show you "how to draw a zebra for kids", step by step. Since a lot of people will be visiting the zoo over the next few months, I thought it would be fun to show folks how easy they can recreate a zebra in a few simple steps. The shape of the body, and the way this zebra is looking at you, makes it almost irresistible to deny the chance to tackle this tutorial. One of the categories I really enjoy drawing for is the ‘For Kids’ section. Not only is it fun, the animals, characters, and figures always end up looking colorful, bright, and really fun.
