The first step is really simple. Draw an egg shape for the body of the whale.

Step 2.
Start the process of getting the actual body of the whale drawn in. The front lining is the head, and the top lining is the back. Make the curved neck and belly before moving to step three.

Step 3.
The first thing you will need to do is draw out the big smile for Mr. Whale. Next, make a large unfinished circle for the eye, and then draw in an eyeball. Add some detailing above the eye like so, and keep on moving.

Step 5.
Okay guys, this is basically the last drawing step. All you have to do is draw out the rest of the whales body, and then draw in the tail fin. Add some wavy lining for the tail for added character.

Step 6.
The last step only involves drawing the line pattern under the chin and or neck. Erase the one guide or shape you drew in step one to clean up your new whale.

Description:
How about another tutorial that will be great for an easy thing to draw? Now that summer is here, people are exploring all sorts of activities. For example, I traveled to Bar Harbor, Maine for Memorial Day and there was a place there that offered whale watching tours. The idea for this tutorial is based on the very attraction that I wish I could have done when I was there. It’s also for my eight year old sister who loves sea animals, and she also watched me make this lesson on "how to draw a whale for kids", step by step. As soon as I was done with the drawing, she immediately started following the lesson and for an eight year old, she did really well. The whale that I made is going to be super simple to replicate, so I know no one is going to have a problem with getting it completed. Whales are awesome mammals that are amazing and mysterious in every way. There is so many species of whale, so choosing one to draw can be tricky because they are all so interesting. The species I made a lesson on is a blue whale, so I know you will enjoy. Well that’s it guys, I don’t want to start talking about stuff that makes no sense so I will meet you back here in a few. Peace people!
