How to Draw a Wolf Moon

Step 1.


Start with a simple circle like so.

Step 2.


You will now begin to draw the profile of the werewolf starting with the snout, forehead and neck. Add the nose too as well as some shading inside the mouth.

Step 3.


Draw in the eye and then sketch in some whisker holes.

Step 4.


We will now complete the body of your werewolf by drawing the pointed ears, the shape of the neck and then some of the chest and back muscles.

Step 5.


To add some ambiance, draw in the trees in the background like so and color them all in. Erase some mistakes when you are all done.

Step 6.


Here is the line art when you are all done. Color in the wolf moon and you are all set.

Description: For Halloween I thought I would do a lesson on another wolf or werewolf tutorial because the howling wolf cub went straight to the Top 50 like I knew it would. We will explore the task of learning how to draw a wolf moon, step by step. Some may ask what is a wolf moon and my only response is; it's a moon with a wolf or werewolf inside of it because as you know the full moon is almost always associated with werewolves and even just regular wolves. This is a very simple and basic lesson that I think most of you will enjoy. I think that it is simple enough for everyone to enjoy so be sure to let me know what you think of this lesson. I shall return with more tuts so stay tuned in.
