1

Make one medium sized circle for the head of the walrus and then add the facial guidelines.

2

Thicken the lining for the head and draw in some hair and speckles on the skin surface.

3

Next, draw in the friendly eyes, and then draw a nose and mouth for the walrus too. Add some minor detailing and move to step four.

4

Next, draw out the walrus's teeth which are cone shaped and then draw in the long whiskers.

5

Draw the chest, and then draw in the walrus's blubber flippers which is also uses to walk and stand on. Don't forget the wrinkles, creases, and folds.

6

For the last drawing step, all you need to do is draw out the back end or the rest of the walrus's body. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then you are all done.

7

This is the last step and as you can see it's all about the line art. Color in your new walrus and you're done.

Description: Another great animal to make a tutorial out of is the walrus. Yes I know that I already have a tutorial for this aquatic creature, but what I don’t have is a lesson on "how to draw a walrus for kids", step by step. What is great about this animal is how large, incredibly cute, and docile they are. I’m sure that an ordinary human being can’t just walk up to a walrus and start petting it like you can with a trainer present. Anyways, this should be an easy and fun lesson to follow and tackling the simple task to draw a walrus for kids is going to be one of the easiest tutorials you will follow today. Have fun guys, and I hope that all you novice artists enjoy your drawing day!
