How To Draw A Tyrannosaurus Rex
1
Start off with drawing two oval shapes, one on top of the other. This is the guide lines for the head and body.
2
Now connect the two shapes with the lining of half the head and neck and down toward the body. Remember the T-rex is a reptile so that means it will have skin like a lizard.
3
Now start the sketching for the front hind leg and the little arm which will take on more form in later steps. As you can see the other leg is the next thing to be sketched out. You also want to start working on the arm as well. This is the step were

As you can see the other leg is the next thing to be sketched out. You also want to start working on the arm as well. After you successfully completed that, start filling in the mouth with the sharp teeth.

Description: Tyrannosaurus Rex or T-Rex is the most famous of all dinosaur species. This humongous reptile lived right around 65 million years ago and is part of the Cretaceous Period. The T-rex was one of the dinosaurs that lasted prior to the extinction of the Cretaceous time line. One of the things that makes this dinosaur so memorable and stand out from the rest is the size of its head. The enormous head was balanced and held by its long heavy tail, but that’s not the only heavy and powerful part of the T-Rex. The large hind legs were also considered a powerful part of this massive lizard. Everything about this dinosaur was huge, starting from his head to tail and his teeth to legs, everything except the forelimbs. They were incredibly small, almost like a deformity that gave the T-Rex a weakness for defense. Tyrannosaurus Rex weighed in at a good 7.5 tons and measured in at 43 feet long. There were many reasons to fear the T-Rex if you were a smaller dinosaur or even if you were just as big as him, the mouth says it all. The mouth on the T-Rex was in fact what was used as a tool for hunting prey. This particular dinosaur was a menace to other herds. The name Tyrannosaurus means “tyrant lizard”, the perfect name for the perfect predator. Not only is the T-Rex a favorite of mine, but children also love this big bodied carnivore. Learning to "draw a Tyrannosaurus" is a dinosaur that has a lot of detail that needs to be sketched out. I actually teach you how to do this with easy instructions, and simple steps. Well, that’s pretty much all the basics of this species that I can think about. If you know more information, please let me know in the comment area of the tutorial. See ya later.
