Description: Wow, those last three tutorials were awesome huh? For my fourth lesson of the day, I will be showing you "how to draw a cartoon crow", step by step. Yes I know I already submitted a tutorial on how to draw a raven, and yes crows and ravens are the same kind of bird. But what I don’t have is a lesson of a crow that is easy enough for anyone to attempt to draw. Now lately I have been getting e-mails from members telling me that they would appreciate tutorials that are a bit easier for them to learn from. Of course I have to accommodate the members of DragoArt so that everyone has an equal chance at drawing. This cartoon crow that I am submitting is not only easy to draw, but it is extremely cute as well. Crows are best known for cawing in a very loud manor as they await their next meal which is why they got their name of "crow". Like I mentioned in my previous tutorial on the raven, crows are scavenger birds just like seagulls, and vultures. Around the holidays and during the autumn season, we associate these birds with scarecrows because that is what a scarecrow is supposed to keep away. You see, scarecrows were built as a defense mechanism for farmers back in the olden days to keep the “black birds” away from their corn fields and other vegetables that crows were attracted to. Over time these birds has made a name for themselves in both a positive and negative way. For the movie “The Crow” this bird followed Eric Draven and was his second sight through the whole film. In fact if the crow was injured, Eric would get injured as well. The Crow is one of my favorite movies and Brandon Lee did and awesome job. Anyways, this lesson will show you how easy it is to learn how to draw a cartoon crow step by step. I hope you all have fun with this black colored bird, and stay tuned because I have one more tutorial to submit before I call it a night. Peace out people.
