How to Draw a Truck Tattoo
1
Let us start this step on the truck. It's a box like shape for the body frame guide. Draw the top of the truck which is the roof.
2
Up next, draw the outline of the mouth that will be used in place of the grill for your truck. The outer lips should be sort of thick like you see here.
4
Up next, draw in the large, long, licking tongue like so. You want to make sure that the tongue is arched to create a slobbering effect.
5
Using the body guide you made in step one, begin drawing the actual truck body. This should also include the wheel well and seam lines for the door.
6
For the front of the truck, the headlights become the eyes and then some of the grill becomes the brows like you see here.
7
Up next, we will draw in the massive tires which are deep dish rims and thick mud tires. Since they are mud running tires you should make sure that the edging has thick treads.
9
We are almost done. You will now draw the thick smog of smoke coming from the stacks like you see here.
10
Lastly, draw in the treads on your tires and form the two toned lines for coloring the truck. Erase your mistakes and all the guidelines/shapes.

Description: Hey guys! I'm so excited to submit this tutorial on one of my favorite subjects ever, trucks! I know there's quite a few people here who reside in the South or even the extreme Northern parts of the country that know very well about trucks or at least see them 90% of the time on the roads. About two months ago, I bought my own truck, which is a 1998 GMC K1500 with a 5.7l Vortec engine (she sounds so mean!) Because I love my truck so much, I wanted to base this drawing off of her emphasizing the beastly persona she gives off. I've included smoke stacks, as well as a light bar at the hood with huge 40 inch tires. My truck is also black so I made this one black as well, with black spool smoke coming from the stacks and exhaust. I had so much fun with this tutorial and it was a real treat to work on. If you guys like it too, let me know in the comments below. Thanks so much for viewing!
