How to Draw a Spirit Eagle

We will draw in the guide shapes and guidelines for your spirit eagle. Make a circle for the face, sketch in facial guidelines and then draw a crown like shape for the headdress.

Using the shape guide for the face you can start drawing out the shape of the eagle's face. There should be tufts for the cheeks as well.

Add the "up down" pattern across the band at the base of the headdress and then draw a button on each end like you see here.

Sketch in the shape and structure of the eagle's face and then make the definition for the beak.

Here you will draw in the intense eagle eyes and then add some shading to the eyes as well.

Draw in the bones for each part of the headdress design.

Now you can draw out each feather and take your time with this step because feathers are majestic and so is this spirit eagle. Clean up the drawing too.

You are all done. Now color in the spirit eagle.

Description: To continue on with the spirit animals, I have two more coming your way starting with this one on how to draw a spirit eagle, step by step. Of all the spirit animals I have made the eagle and fox (yet to come) are two of my favorites. The wolf is pretty cool too, but you will see why I said the fox as well. All these spirit animals are wearing beautiful Native American style headdresses and I love how they are all created. So go ahead and tackle this lesson on drawing a spirit eagle and I will prepare the next lesson still to come.
