Start off by making a round shape for the seal's head guide like so. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Next, draw the shape of the head structure like so, then sketch in the snout and lips for the seal's face.

Finish off the face shape by sketching out the under jaw and neck like so. Add the detailing around the face, then draw in the big bulgy eyes. Be sure to sketch in some wrinkles and creases around the eyes too.

For the last step, add the slit style nostril holes, then sketch in the whiskers, and whisker holes. Above each eye add a few strands of thin hair. Erase your mistakes then you are done.

When you are done your seal should come out looking like the one you see here. Color in your drawing and that's it.

Description: Okay folks, here is the second animal head that I have for you all. Up next, we will tackle the task of learning "how to draw a seal head", step by step. I'm sure most of you will agree that seals are absolutely adorable especially when they are babies. Drawing seals isn't too hard because they are relatively plain looking animals. They have round heads and big oblong bodies. Their faces consist of two circle shaped eyes and some long brittle looking whiskers. If you have been waiting for a lesson that will show you how easy drawing a seal head can be, look no further because here it is.
