How to Draw a Penguin Head

Begin by making a circle for the head guide, then draw the neck and some of the chest.

You will now draw the shape of the small head, then draw in the side profile of the long narrow shaped beak.

Define the lining for the body that you drew in step one, then proceed to step four.

Once you add the markings on the beak and sketch out the shape of the eye, you can detail around the eye and then erase your mistakes. You are all done.

Here is the line art now that you are finished. Now you can color in the penguin and add some markings to show what kind you like best.

Description: I just can't stop this fever I have with drawing animal heads. I am having so much fun with creating new tutorials on some of our favorite animal species. Today I have two to upload and I will start with showing you "how to draw a penguin head", step by step. What better way to make a lesson on one of the worlds most adored and loved animals from the Arctic. For me I always took a liking to baby penguins because they have that fine coat of feathers that makes them look so cuddleable. There is literally so many different species of penguins in the world that choosing one to draw can be a difficult task in itself. Nonetheless, I think no matter what type of penguin you choose to draw you will have fun either way. Peace out folks and stay tuned in to see what other animal head lesson I will submit.
