How to Draw a Plant

This is going to be so easy to draw. Start with a sqaure box for the plant's pot. You will then draw the guidelines for the leaves of this spider plant that you will be drawing.

Let's focus on getting the plant pot drawn out. You will first need to thicken the lining for the pot, and then you will draw the plastic or ceramic fold that almost all pots have. Once that is done you can start drawing out the shapes of the baby le

You will now start sketching out the shapes of the other leaves for the spider plant as you see here. Once this part is done you can move to the next step. The leaves should look wide, flat, and smooth, with pointed tips. Older leaves are always bigg

Draw out three more leave shapes as you see here and just follow the same steps as you did in the previous tutorial. Once finished you can move onto your last drawing step on "how to draw a plant".

Finish drawing your house plant by drawing four more leaves. These leaves should be bigger, bolder, and more erect. Once complete you can add some detailing and definition to all the leaves of the spider plant. Erase all the guidelines and shapes you

Description: Plants are awesome because they provide a form of oxygen while they reside in your house. One person that I know of that has a bunch of house plants is my grandmother. She is the only one person that I know that has a genuine green thumb. I say this because all her plants as so alive, vibrant, and well, healthy. The tutorial that I am putting up now will show you "how to draw a plant step by step". I sketched out a scenery that looks very much like my grandmothers parlor. She has this particular plant that you will be drawing, which is a "sansevieria" or snake plant. The sansevieria, is a plant that is almost hard to kill, but beautiful to look at. It almost looks like a fake plant which is mainly because it is so sturdy looking. I love the way that this plant came out because it is exactly what my grannies sansevieria looks like. All in all, this is an easy tutorial that almost all of you will be able to tackle. Learning "how to draw a plant", almost gives you the same effects as owning a plant gives; peace, relaxation, and joy. There is so many beautiful plants in existence, and if you want to, you can even sketch out one of those small cactus plants that thrive in a small ceramic bowl.
