How to Draw a Honey Bee

1

We will draw the honey bee from the side. Begin with a head, and then the thorax and abdomen for the bee.

2

Sketch out the fuzzy head, as well as the pointed snout. Draw the thin lined antenna too.

3

Next, all you have to do here is draw out the large shaped eye, then draw the marking line around the mouth of the bee.

4

Begin sketching out the body followed by the four hairy legs. As you can see the legs have three parts.

5

Now that some of the bee is drawn, you can sketch out the wing, add detailing to the wing, and prepare yourself for the next step.

6

Sketch out the thorax in detail making sure the lining is fuzzy because as you know all bees have hair.

7

Add detailing to the wing which is the rib lines of the bee's wing.

8

You are almost done with drawing your honey bee. All you have to do here is draw out the rest of the body shape like so, then draw the back legs which are also in three parts not including the hook shaped feet.

9

Add some detailing to the body, then you're done to erase the mistakes.

10

Here is your honey bee when all is done. Color it in and that's it. I hope you enjoyed drawing a honey bee.

Description: Sweet little honey bee, you are so pretty. These are probably one of the only bee species that I find interesting in appearance. It's like these bees have a golden color making them blonde like a blonde headed babe. These honey gatherers have one hard job. They have to find and collect all sorts of pollen before they can produce honey in their hives. Now beekeepers raise honey bees and they have these specially made boxes that have several inserts where the bees live and make honey combs out of. When the combs are made the honey bees begin making the sweet nectar that we love in our tea, cakes, or just enjoy plain out raw. have fun with this lesson people, I will return soon.
