How to Draw a Flower
1
Draw a circle, and then a vertical line through the shape. It should look like a lollipop when you are done.
2
You will now draw the pretty wispy bell like shape for the calla lily's bloom, and then draw the narrow, slender stem.
3
Next, draw the simple hook line to make an opening for the flower's bloom, and then draw the stigma shape. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and you're done.

Description: There is so many different types of flowers that are blooming everywhere I turn my head when I'm out and about. Today, I thought it would be nice to submit a couple of lessons on some of the more popular flowers, and put them in a simple tutorial. So, having said all that, let me show you "how to draw a flower", step by step in the form of the beautiful, and unique calla lily. I chose this flower species because I felt that it would be the easiest, and prettiest bloom to draw. I had so much fun sketching out the calla lily, and to tell you the truth, I never even knew it's name before last week. The reason why I was searching for information on this flower, is because I wanted to give my grandmother a nice birthday bloom that would help cheer her up, so she can feel happy again. She's sad because her ten year old cat Betsy died from old age. I guess it didn't help that her cat's lifespan was cut nearly in half due to her being overweight. Anyway, enough with the gloomy stuff, and on with the bright and happy. The tutorial that I have created for all of you artist that crave for something easy to draw, will have a blast when you tackle this lesson that teaches you "how to draw a flower", step by step. There is only three drawing steps, and one line art step. Once you start this tutorial, you will be sorry you finished it so soon. Adios to all my fellow creative minds, and friends. I will be going live very shortly, and I will also be uploading more drawing fun. Stay tuned in, or come back real, real soon. Peace!
