How to Draw a Fetus, Fetus Skeleton
1
Okay, let's start by drawing some basic shapes to form a frame for your fetus. The head shape should be oblong, and the torso should be egg shaped. You will also need to draw the hip or pelvic area, then draw the guidelines for the legs and feet.
2
You will now begin sketching out the actual structure of the head, followed by the bone shape and upper toothless jaw.
3
For those of you that don't know, babies have an empty space on top of the cranium that fills in as the child gets older. You will also need to sketch out the socket for the eye, then sketch in the structure for the bottom jaw. You will need to sket
4
Here is where you will draw in the arm bones for the skeleton fetus as well as the hand, fingers, and wrist. The fingers have three bones, so make sure they are drawn or sketched out right.
5
Finish drawing the fetus' arms which is also the bones. Draw the neck bone, then sketch in all the detailing to the bones.
6
As you can see you are almost halfway done with this lesson. Since you are drawing this fetus skeleton from the side, there is only one ribcage that you have to draw. Sketch out the bones for the ribs, then color in the inside area of the ribs. Draw
7
Here you will draw the spine bone, as well as the hip or pelvis bone. Again, add detailing to the bones for texture and definition.
8
Almost done folks. Here you will sketch out the thigh bone as well as the shin bone. You have to draw in the small foot, followed by all the toes. Be sure to define the ankle and heel, then add the cracks to the foot.
9
Lastly, sketch the remaining leg and you should be done. Make sure you try to keep the symmetry in mind as well as proportion. Erase the mistakes then you are done.

Description: Here is a concept that I worked on while I was live yesterday and because a lot of people liked it, I wanted to turn it into a tutorial. So here is my take on "how to draw a fetus", step by step in a skeletal form. Drawing babies can be tricky because they have a lot more definition than an older child or even adult do to their chubby build. When drawing this fetus, I not only wanted to make something fun and unique, I also wanted to add a bit of creepiness as well. The drawing took about two hours to complete, and an additional forty five minutes to color it in. If you like creepy art, you will definitely love drawing this fetus. I still have some more lessons to submit so be sure to stick around to see what they are.
