How to Draw a Fairy Heart

Step 1.


Begin by drawing a heart. You can make this heart as big, or as small as you like. You can also draw your own heart style because I know everyone has their own way to make hearts.

Step 2.


Next, draw in two antenna like so, and cap the tops with neat little pods. You will also need to draw the definition around the base of the antenna as well. This is for realism as well as detail.

Step 3.


Draw in the pretty flowing style of the fairy wings like so. If you want you can make these wings in a different style.

Step 4.


Add the detailing to the base of the wings for texture detailing, and then you are ready to erase your mistakes.

Step 5.


Look how pretty the fairy heart came out. Now you can color it in to your own tastes.

Description: I've really been having fun with all the heart concept ideas lately so I guess you could say I'm also on a heart drawing kick as well as a Hello Kitty kick. Yesterday I was trying to think of some cool but pretty ideas for a awesome girly tutorial. It just popped into my head that a nice pink heart decorated in a fairy like style would be something that could either make an awesome tattoo design, or a really pretty drawing concept to folks to tackle. Here is what I like to call "how to draw a fairy heart", step by step. Whether or not fairies have hearts with wings is not the question here. The question is, how could you create a heart that totally looks like it belongs to a fairy. So, after considering the fact, I thought of a way to draw some really pretty powdery wings and a pair of antenna spurting from the arches of the heart. The end result came out so dainty and I really think that this would make an awesome tattoo concept. The lesson is going to be really easy to tackle as well which means you should have no problem with tweaking this design to your liking. Drawing a fairy heart may seem odd, but it's definitely worth the time to try it out. I shall be back with one or two more lessons for you all so stick around while the day is still young.
