Make one big circle shape like so and then add a facial guide.

For step two, all you have to do is draw out Santa's hat like so, and notice how the rim of the hat fits snug around the head.

Draw in Santa's small eyes like so, as well as the nose, and great big beard. The small shape to the right corner of the beard is actually a small hand or mitten.

Next, draw out the seed shape of Santa's toy sack and then scuff up the bottom of the sack like so.

And finally, draw in the legs and feet or boots like so, as well as the flap for the sack. Erase your mistakes and move along to see how your Santa should look.

Well, this is how your simple line art looks when you are all done. Now you can color in Santa and be on your way to another fun filled lesson on how to draw something.
