How to Draw an Easy Santa

Step 1.

We’ll start the process by “KEEPING the THOUGHT”. We try to retain the idea in our minds like having a photograph image of what we want and decide how it should look like in the end. In this case, we want jolly old Santa to pose just like at sh   

Step 2.

Basing on this all-important stick figure base, we assess the whole image and try to pin-point which parts do we think would be the best place to put the ‘fats’ or the ‘bulges’ that define generally Santa’s shape. Notice how the pelvic area   

Step 3.

This is what I meant earlier. Try remembering what santa looks like in our mind again. The head is one circle, the nose and the cheeks also are other small circles. The beard is a big oblong, and of course the pot belly. Notice that just below the po   

Step 4.

Now we use the oblongs & circles as the base. From there we connect each one to each other in such a way that it makes the full outline of Santa, just as in our mind’s eye. The orange lines are connectors and just as well making the finer definitio   

Step 5.

Using the basic shapes that we had earlier, the next step would be to make finer adjustments. You can deviate a bit from the original draft of course if you see the need.

Step 6.

Here now is the final output of what we did. Next would be up to you to place additional colors and shading.
