We’ll start the process by “KEEPING the THOUGHT”. We try to retain the idea in our minds like having a photograph image of what we want and decide how it should look like in the end. In this case, we want jolly old Santa to pose just like at sh

Basing on this all-important stick figure base, we assess the whole image and try to pin-point which parts do we think would be the best place to put the ‘fats’ or the ‘bulges’ that define generally Santa’s shape. Notice how the pelvic area

Now we use the oblongs & circles as the base. From there we connect each one to each other in such a way that it makes the full outline of Santa, just as in our mind’s eye. The orange lines are connectors and just as well making the finer definitio

Using the basic shapes that we had earlier, the next step would be to make finer adjustments. You can deviate a bit from the original draft of course if you see the need.
