How to Draw a Christmas Star

Step 1.


You will begin by making a large plus sign, or cross design like you see here.

Step 2.


Start off slow as you draw out the four points of the Christmas star. All four sides should be uniform in shape and size so take your time as you tackle this step.

Step 3.


Lastly, draw in four spikes that are coming from the centers of each notch at the base of each arm. Erase your mistakes like so to finish things up.

Step 4.


Here is how your Christmas star comes out looking when you are all done. Now you can draw as many as you like, and color them in how you please.

So today I will be showing you "how to draw a Christmas star", step by step. Despite what the star may look line in the finished colored picture, this will be a relatively easy star to tackle and recreate. The simple steps will have you drawing a Christmas star in no time at all which means you can begin making your Christmas designs and drawings ahead of time since you will learn the technique to making the most popular star of all. Anyways, I had fun with this task because it was easier than I thought it was going to be when it comes to turning such an iconic star into a step by step drawing lesson.
