How to Draw a Christmas Bunny

Step 1.


Make two shapes for the rabbit. One for the head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines too.

Step 2.


Using the head guide you made, begin sketching out the actual structure of the bunny's face. Also add some tufts of hair on top of the head too.

Step 3.


You can use the facial guidelines to draw out the eyes, nose and mouth for your bunny. Notice the expression on the rabbit's face. Surprised and baffled. He is tangled in decorative lights. Don't forget the whiskers.

Step 4.


Here is where you will start the drawing process for the rabbit's ears. Do one ear at a time. Once the first ear is drawn, go ahead and draw some of the Santa at.

Step 5.


Finish the hat and add the ball tassel at the tip.

Step 6.


You can draw in the other ear now and this is the only thing you will draw in this step.

Step 7.


This bunny is eating one of Santa's cookies. You can draw in the arm and body first, then draw the cookie.

Step 8.


Finish the body by drawing the bunny's legs and front arm. When that is done you can add the toe lines to each foot.

Step 9.


All you need to do here is draw in a puppy tail.

Step 10.


Now add the string of christmas lights and erase the mistakes and all the guides.

Step 11.


When all is said and done your Christmas bunny should look like the drawing you see here. Now all you have to do is color it in.

Description: Here is an animal you don't often see as drawings or art during the Christmas holiday or at least I never do. I thought it would be nice to make a lesson on how to draw a Christmas bunny, step by step. You can literally turn any animal into an Xmas animal, the tricky part is choosing which kind of animal because not all animals could get away with wearing a santa hat. Anyways, I love the way this rabbit came out. Not only is it wearing a Santa hat, it's tangled in Christmas lights too making him even cuter. Go ahead and tackle this tut folks. I will be back with another lesson, but it won't be related to the holiday season.
