Drawing a Christmas Mouse

Step 1.


Go ahead and make some guides and shapes for your Christmas mouse. There should be two shapes and the rest are guidelines.

Step 2.


Define or draw the shape of the mouse's head using the head guide shape you just made in step one, don't forget to draw in the large ear and the mouth.

Step 3.


We will now finish the face and give this mouse an eye. Add detailing to the ear and then add some whisker holes and whiskers as well.

Step 4.


Completely draw the Santa hat on the head of this mouse. You will give him the teeth that all mice have as well.

Step 5.


Let's get the body started. Draw the scarf and arm as well as the hand. AS I said in the description, this mouse is in motion instead of standing on all fours.

Step 6.


Add some lines to the scarf for detailing.

Step 7.


Go ahead and draw the whole body. Draw the arch of the back, the back leg and foot and then the other arm and had. Add the nails to each foot and then sketch in detailing to the limbs.

Step 8.


The only thing you need to do here is to draw the other leg and foot. Add definition and detail again as well.

Step 9.


Lastly, give this mouse a long rodent tail and add those defined lines to the tail as well. Erase the mistakes and all the guides too.

Step 10.


When you are done you should have a mouse that looks like the one you see here. Now go ahead and color it in and draw a background too.

Description: Hello guys. I hope ya'll are ready for a few lessons on some Christmas related characters. I will start the day by showing you all how to draw a Christmas mouse, step by step. This is the mouse that you hear of from the old storybook poem Twas the night before Christmas. Even though not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse, I'm sure there were some mice sneaking around gathering Christmas cookie crumbs to bring back to their mouse holes. Anyways, have fun. This mouse is in motion which makes it even more fun to draw.
