How to Draw a Christian Fish, Ichthys

Begin the first step by drawing the first arch which will be the top of the fish shape. There is also an inner line inside this arch that lines it for thickness.

Next, draw in the bottom arch of the fish and then when you do this, be sure not to go all the way up forming a tail.

Finish the fish shape by drawing the tail end, then you can proceed to the last step.

If you want to add a word in the center of the eye go ahead and do that now. For me I just wrote the word 'JESUS' but you can write anything you like.

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color in your Jesus Fish or Christian Fish.

Today I will be showing you how to draw a Christian Fish, step by step. This symbol is also known as a Jesus fish, and Ichthys. The word 'Ichthys' means fish in Greek language. ΙΧΘΥΣ also means "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" in English language. Drawing this symbol is going to be easy as you can imagine. You can leave the word Jesus out of the center and leave it blank, or you can fill the center with the word 'GOD'. Whatever you choose is your choice.
