How to Draw a Chef

Artist: Dawn / January 16, 2016

Step 1.

Make the shapes for the head and torso. Sketch in the guidelines for the face and limbs.

Step 2.

Define the shape of her face and add the spaced out bang chunks.

Step 3.

Use the facial guidelines to draw in the eyes, lashes and mouth. Add the splatters of flour and frosting on her face and draw the eyebrows.

Step 4.

Add the rest of her hair and be sure that there is a bun. Add the ear and then some of the hair behind the head.

Step 5.

We will now draw in the neck and shoulders, then draw the arm and hand that is holding the mixing bowl filled with batter. Her clothing and body is covered with a mess.

Step 6.

Up next, draw the other arm and then draw in the mixing spoon. Notice there is batter dripping down the spoon.

Step 7.

Finish it all off by drawing the apron and the flour and batter on the apron. Erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 8.

Here is the line art when you are done. Now you can color in the baker to your liking.

Description: Something I have always loved the concept of, was baking. I have a huge fetish with baked goods and anything that has to do with desert. Today I wanted to draw a female baker because simply drawing a Baker to look like a traditional male, is not stepping outside the box. Since I love baking, why not draw the girl in resemblance to myself. You will find that in the colored image I gave the Baker blue eyes instead of my green. Nonetheless enjoy the tut and let me know what you think. Adios mi amigos!
