Make the guides for the face and head like so.

Define the face shape and then draw in the wavy line for the hair which frames her face.

Up next, draw in the two flowers, one is large and the other is smaller. Draw in the simple skull face and then a small heart for the smaller flower.

Finish drawing the hairstyle which is wrapped around the whole shape of the face.

Now you can use the facial guidelines to draw out the eyes. Before the eyes draw the painting markings around the eyes.

For the final step draw the small petals around the eye paint and then draw the nose, lips and mouth. Add the stitch lining along the mouth and erase the mistakes and guides.

Here is the line art. Color in the Day of the Dead face and you are all set. I know you will have fun so get to coloring her in.

Description: My inbox has been getting filled with requests for me to make lessons on Day of the Dead faces or anything related to the Latino holiday. So here is a very simple, pretty and delightful lesson on an easy day of the dead girl. So many people will enjoy this tut because of how bright the colored image is and based on how easy it's going to be to draw one of these traditional looking faces. Anyways, I have done a whole lot of lessons related to Day of the Dead, so there is nothing more I can really say. Just enjoy the lesson and maybe even add your own personal touches.
