Draw a head shape ad then add the facial guidelines. Draw a neck line and then another torso shape in the form of a circle. Add the front leg lines, a tail line, and the wing guideline.

You will now start drawing out the cartoon dragons face like the way you see it here and then draw out the big cartoon dragon eyes. You will need to color the pupils in and then draw the guidelines for the horns and then add a few detailing lines for

Now, lets start sketching out the frills on the sides of the cartoon dragons face like you see here and then finish drawing out the horns. Begin sketching out the body along with the dragons legs and feet. See how easy this tutorial is?

Okay now that the basic body shape and such is drawn out you can now start sketching out the cartoon dragon's wing as shown to you here. Next draw the hind foot and the thick stubby tail.

You will then draw out the left wing and then draw the chest scales as seen here. Finish drawing the inner leg and foot, and then move to the last drawing step.

Description: How about an easy tutorial on “how to draw a cartoon dragon step by step”? I know this will be a exciting lesson for you all to learn from because everyone loves learning "how to draw cartoon dragons". I have so many different types of dragons submitted on the site, and some of them are figments of my imagination. Like there is shadow dragons, and bone dragons and all kinds of other species other than a typical red, blue, or black dragon. The cartoon version that the lesson will be on looks a little like the chibi dragon that I drew some time back. The only difference is, this one is way better. I look back on some of the drawings I did and I have to say, I can totally see a big difference of how I used to draw to the way I draw nowadays. This tutorial on “how to draw a cartoon dragon step by step” is easy to follow and in no time at all, you will be on your way to drawing and coloring your very own dragon too.
