Drawing Katana From Suicide Squad

Next, define the shape of her face which is mostly covered by a mask. When that is done you can draw in her long strands of hair. Very straight bangs.
3
Using the facial guidelines you will draw in the shapes of her eyes which are in a catty style. There is blackness around the actual eyes as this is part of her disguise. Draw the mask line which spreads across the face. And lastly, draw the mouth/li

Now we will draw in the rest of her hairstyle, and I think you will notice that her hair is longer in the film than her comic book version. Hairstyle also forms the shape of Katana's head.

Next, we will define the body by drawing the shoulders, arms and one of her hands. The hand is actually going to be holding the handle of her katana. Add the detailing for the sleeves so you end up having Katana wearing a jacket. Wrap the arm in band

Here is where you will draw in the other side of the jacket along with her chest. She is wearing a tight tee underneath which is why her chest is popping out a bit.

Lastly, draw in the waist line and then the wrinkles on the sleeve. Draw the plate on her side and then the belt and katana handle. Add the last minute details and erase your guides as well as your mistakes.

Description: I just had to go ahead and do one more Suicide Squad character because I think she is so cool looking even though I really don't convey that through this lesson. Today we will be learning how to draw Katana from Suicide Squad, step by step. She is another villainess that uses blades as her signature weapon. Another comic book character that she reminds me of is Deadpool. They both have some form of red and black that makes up their comic book uniforms, they both use katana swords, and they are both mentally screwed up in the head. The original Katana had a family with two children. Her real name is actually Tatsu Yamashiro, but when she lost her whole family she began training with a martial arts master named Tadashi. She welded her own sword which was a katana and took on the name of the sword she made. Anyways, this depiction of Katana is how she looks in the film. I will eventually do the real comic book version of Katana as she is seen in DC Comics mags. For now just enjoy drawing Katana from Suicide Squad and I will prepare my next tut. Adios folks.
