How to Draw Joker from Suicide Squad, Jared Leto

Using the head guide begin sketching out Joker's facial structure which is long and narrow. Also incorporate the ears.

We will now draw the nose and then the prominent frown lines that will create the balls for the Joker's cheeks and then move to step four.
4
Now we can draw in his insane wide open eyes. They should be crazed looking and very piercing. Before you leave this step sketch in the forehead wrinkles or creases and then add a tear drop tattoo just below the eye.
5
Carefully draw in the Joker's mouth. As you know the lips should be dark, thick and bold. Draw in the teeth and then some of his tongue.
6
On with drawing his arms. Start with drawing the hand. This is going to be a very complex task if you currently struggle with drawing hands because this hand is in an actual pose. Once you have Joker's hand drawn in you can sketch out the arm.

In this step you will draw the hair first. It's short and combed back. Add the waves to create texture and body. This will make the hair seem alive. Once that is done you can draw in the other hand and arm like so and then draw the tattoo on the top

Description: You know I couldn't just stop making lessons on all those incredibly cool looking characters from the upcoming 2016 film 'Suicide Squad' without making a tutorial on how to draw Joker from Suicide Squad. Yes, everything you heard about who is playing the insane madman is true. Jared Leto has made the cut and is going to be the new Joker and I have to say, he looks just as creepy as the original Joker. The Joker from Suicide Squad has tattoos, is crazier than ever, and has mental stability of a rabid raccoon. Drawing Joker in his new form took some serious time because of all the coloring and shading I had to use in order to create the effect of a total madman. I do believe that you will be completely satisfied with drawing Suicide Squad version of Joker using this lesson. I have to admit, I struggled a bit with the right arm, but in the end I'm happy with the results. Have fun folks and please don't forget to leave some feedback. I love reading all the comments that you all leave for me and for each other.
