Drawing a Yellow Butterfly

Since the butterfly is pretty simple to draw, I won't be laying out this lesson with steps. Start by drawing the body of the butterfly like so.

You will now draw the detailing to the body and then draw in the eyes.

Here you will draw in the butterfly wings. Each side is in two sections.

For the additions, you will draw the butterfly antenna.

We will now draw the pretty design marking along the edges of the butterfly wings like you see here.

You will no carefully draw in the wing veins on the two sections of the wings.

Simply repeat the same procedure here as you did in step six. When you are done you can go ahead and erase the mistakes.

Here is the line art. Now you can go ahead and color in your butterfly using the yellow tool.

Description: Hey folks, this next tutorial is going to be on how to draw a yellow butterfly. I decided to make this lesson because I have been seeing these big, beautiful yellow butterflies around my yard lately and I can't seem to forget thinking about them. The yellow on them is so vivid, I just had to replicate them in a drawing. As far as what kind these butterflies are, have no idea. The only thing I know, is how to show you how you can draw a yellow butterfly too.
